About Hisaab

Hisaab ("calculation" in Urdu) is a free collection of calculators for everyday money and life decisions in Pakistan.

Why we built it

Every June people search for their new salary tax, every summer for their electricity bill, every Ramadan for their zakat. Too often the tools they find are slow on mobile data, cluttered with ads, or still showing last year's rates. Hisaab exists to give a fast, clear and correct answer, and to show exactly how that answer was worked out.

Who runs Hisaab

Hisaab is an independent project built and maintained in Lahore by a software developer with a background in education. It is not affiliated with FBR, NEPRA, any electricity distribution company, the State Bank of Pakistan or any government body, and nothing on this site is an official notice.

What we promise

• Accuracy first. Each calculator is tested against worked examples from official sources before it goes live. See our methodology.
• Up-to-date rates. We update tax slabs, tariffs and other rates as soon as they are officially notified, and every page shows when it was last updated.
• Free forever. All 10 calculators are free to use with no sign-up.
• Your numbers stay with you. Calculations run in your browser; we do not send the amounts you enter to our servers. See our privacy policy.
• Honesty. No fake reviews, no inflated counters. Ads and sponsored content, if any, are always clearly labelled.

Found a mistake?

If a result looks wrong or a rate is out of date, please tell us. We fix reported errors quickly.
